What to Expect

Our Sunday Morning Service begins at 10:30AM

Inter-City Baptist Church is a congregation of regular people who want to honor our Savior Jesus Christ and encourage each other to grow in our walk with Him. Each Sunday morning we begin at 9:30 am with Adult Bible Fellowships and Children and Teen Sunday Schools. Our morning worship service begins at 10:30 am in the auditorium. Our evening worship service begins at 6 pm in the auditorium.

What are your services like? 

God’s Word is at the center of our worship time. God-honoring congregational singing is an essential part of our worship to God, and singing together as a church body is the foundation of our approach to music. We sing a combination of old and new songs in a fresh, but conservative style and work to ensure that each one is accurate, accessible, and appropriate. The sermons are built on God’s Word, not the pastor’s ideas, and aim at transforming our lives to be more like Jesus Christ. The morning service typically lasts about one hour and thirty minutes.

Do you provide childcare?

Clean, well-staffed nurseries for infants and toddlers are provided during all church services. Sunday School classes are held for each grade at 9:30 am. Children in K-2nd grade may attend Primary church; and children in 3th-5th grade may attend Junior church during the 10:30 am service. Children in those age groups join the adults for the evening service. Our Children’s Ministries continue on Wednesday nights.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time should I arrive?
10:15 – 10:25 is our transition time between Sunday School and the Morning Worship Service. Plan to arrive at 10:15, and you’ll have plenty of time to make the transition with us.
Where should I park?
There is parking along both sides of the building and behind the building as well. Parking spaces for those with handicapped parking permits are located on both sides of the building near the front entrances. There are also designated handicapped spaces near the building in the rear parking lot.
Where do I go when I arrive?
Come in any of the doors, and you will be met by a greeter. Her or she will be happy to direct you to the correct place. For the sake of security, doors at the front of the building remain unlocked after 10:30.
Do you have Sunday School for adults and kids?
Yes! Classes start at 9:30 and end no later than 10:15. We provided age-appropriate Sunday School classes for pre-school-aged kids (ages 2-4), elementary school-aged kids (K-5th), middle schoolers (6th-8th), and high schoolers (9th-12th). We provide a clean, well-staffed nursery for infants and toddlers as well. Adult Bible Fellowships meet during this time, too, and one of our greeters or hosts can help direct you to one that fits your stage in life.
