Teen Ministry
We want you as a teenager to know Jesus Christ and to find your ultimate joy and satisfaction in him. We have designed our teen ministry to deepen your understanding of the greatness of our God, to provide practical help with the challenges of the teen years, and to give encouragement in your pursuit of godliness.
Sunday School
Join us on Sunday mornings from 9:30 – 10:15 for a time of practical Bible teaching designed just for teens and their spiritual needs. We offer two classes, one for grades 6–8 and one for grades 9–12.
Wednesday Night
Join us on Wednesday evenings during the school year at 7:00 pm. We spend time singing and studying the Bible, but we also set aside time for getting to know each other and people new to our church through games in the gym and casual fellowship.
Activities
We host a variety of activities throughout the year in order to build relationships among the teens and with our youth workers. These activities include things like a trip to a ball game, canoeing, and caroling to senior citizens. We also meet at the home of a church member once a month on Sunday nights to eat pizza and to praise God for his blessings.
Teen Ministry Workers
All teen ministry workers are members of Inter-City Baptist Church who have completed a thorough application and background check process before being approved to serve in our children’s ministry.
