Inter-City Baptist Church established the Inter-City Baptist Bible Institute in 1975 to help the people of our church and other area churches develop a foundational knowledge of the Bible, Christian doctrine, church history, local church ministry, and Christian living.

Our students are a healthy mixture of mature Christians who have been saved for many years, young Christians who are trying to understand the basics, and everyone in between. Programs of Study

We offer a standard diploma which requires 16 courses spread out over 5 areas of study (Old Testament, New Testament, Theology, Church History, and Practical Theology). Students can also earn an advanced diploma in each of these fields by completing an additional 6 courses in a specific area of study. Take a look at our catalog to find out more about our degrees.

Cost

Each course costs $30 for students 64 and younger and $15 for students 65 and older. There is a one-time $10 application fee for new students.

All Institute classes meet at Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, located at 4801 Allen Road, Allen Park, MI. DBTS is conveniently located minutes from I-75, I-94, and Southfield Road.
